How the services are ranked

The editors compare four things in this order, all read from each service's own live pages on 8 November 2026: price to start, whether it needs your password, whether a refund rule is written down, and how it says it finds followers. Prices shown for UpGrow and Outfame are first-month prices.

1. Price to start. The first month or first billing period as each pricing page shows it.
2. Password access. Services that work from your username rank above ones that need your Instagram login.
3. Written refund rule. A refund rule tied to growth ranks above a trial extension or nothing.
4. How followers are found. Targeting people who follow similar accounts ranks above follow/unfollow automation.
